My lovely Sunday

Yesterday shenanigans - Hubs converted the dyson box into a car for her.
On a side note, we accidentally got the dyson which he was eyeing for a while. I was buying bedsheets and quit for Emma at Metro (it was 20%+10%). There was a purchase with purchase, so we got Fluffy from $899 to $399. He said, must buy.

Before bed.
She woke up this morning very sweet, her eyes weren't even opened and hugged me and said I love you. Of cause I got diabetic in the morning.
We went to the park, trying to get her to pick up a 2 wheeler.
While I ran, and trying to hit some mileage. Also, after running for so long, I've downloaded my first fitness app. I was browsing on play store and this caught my eye - Running for weight loss. I wanted to lose weight, just the 1kg I've gained from the bbt everyday.

He laughed at me. Apparently, everyone is using Runkeeper, so I became Everyone. I also known as Everyone is now using Runkeeper.

But since I was running with Running for weight loss (sounds more targeted, but bimbotic), I'm using both in parallel now.
While he attempted to teach her on 2 wheeler and running backwards colliding into everyone in his path.
I'm not too concerned whether she learnt a 2 wheeler, I barely cycled my entire life.
But I do believe that swimming is a life skill that she needs to learn so I wouldn't have my child appearing in the papers as '7-yr-old child drowns'.

She went for a swim right after we came back. Where did the energy came from?
Probably the bowl of fish ball noodles after our park run.

Our fluffy.

Same old 2019

The start of the year has been pretty good to us.

Emma's fitting in pretty well in school. I don't think she's at the 'enjoyment' stage yet, but she definitely is less scared.
I can tell she's really tired after school as well. Hasn't got used to the schedule I think.
But once she's home, she becomes a dragon.

We spent the weekend slow, enjoying the company of each other.
She still loves piano. I can tell its because of the teacher, the way they interact, she'll only interact that way to someone she likes and feels close to.
She still hate swimming classes. Its tiring, I guess she takes after her mum. We promised her to pull her out once we made sure she wouldn't drown if we throw her into the deep pool.
We have been eating some good food as well. The corner hawker closed and renovated, it opened up with yet another teochew porridge stall (we have 3 good stalls within 200m range). The good side of this is we really love teochew porridge, Emma included. So we really have been having this very often.
So back to this newly renovated hawker, it has a new zi char stall as well! So we ordered a combo of porridge with bbq sambal stingray. We agreed that this has to be the best combo ever. The stingray was very well done and one of the better ones - Right at our doorstep!
