the move is on..

haven't done a real post for a while. i've decided not to do my cpa this semester, cause of lotsa distractions going on with the house. the itinary for the nex half:

- July 20th till 4th aug--> Perth Photoshoot and Melboune fun trip
- Aug 11th till 27th --> work at Japan (yes.. again.. 3rd trip within a year)
- Aug 7th and 8th--> False wall for wardrobe
- Aug 14th to 1 week--> wardrobe fixing
- Outstanding--> Kitchen not confirm yet.
- August/September--> get movers to shift our stuff

Aiming to move in by Oct/November!!!

Talking bout the house, last week noting was done. that wasn't the point. our closet ID did a boo-boo, its asif we're moving backwards, now we've gotta re-do our kitchen cabinet base. suck big time. but we got a free cutomised cupboard safe for the boo-boo that he did. hehe..

ok.. away from lousy news, hubby got recall today, so i went into the packing process. we haven't got much time left.. from now till september, i'm only left with 3 weekends, others, i would either be in aust or in japan. for a start...

our 6 leather chairs, console table, parts of sofa, coffee table. and yes, the baby crib is mine too..

while clearing tings... found lotsa forgotten memories.. li-ren's bad taste bear collection during uni days, and he was even a member...

one of the vday present i got him when i was very very poor in uni.. and he was crazy over this nodding head tingy...

the first bday present that li-ren gave me, of which i dint like, and i told him oni 2 years later. i don't hate it. i used 'din't like'.

he grew smarter after, and i got my LVs on the rest of my bdays.

we gonna watch this at marina later!!!

the main motive was actually zara. i rushed to the sale yesterday, oni got 1 cardigan sadly.. the sizes they've got at sales sucks.

my 1,000 dollar donation

i was asking 1,000 for my cpa. cause i failed, and it costs me around 1,000 sgd. and my collegue gave me this:
its 1,000 rupiah, worth SGD$0.14 cents.

thou i'm here 1 year apart.. but ok.. i tink i've got enuff of tokyo.. work and fun is really different.. weekends are very tiring that i can hardly have much fun..

but the guy is jus too cuteee!! and hope my collegue dont mind appearing on my blog.. he's super friendly and can speak very simple english,and speaks very refinely (if there's such a word)

our walk down memory lane..

in about a month's time, li-ren and i are going to Perth for our wedding photoshoot.. i wonder how it'll feel like to be back there again...

we met there, begin there, broke up once there, made up again, and til now to where we are today..
very exciteddd!!! cause this trip is gonna be very different from our previous one.. its 3 days of photoshoot.. walking down our memory lane in perth. and we're going for our annual trip!

this yr its melbourne, totally love it when i went last yr, but dint do any sightseeing, cause i was quite sure i'll be back with li-ren, and we're doing a road trip this time. jus the 2 of us! the previous time was 3-week with a bunch of hall ppl. this time more subtle, its gonna be jus both of us.

its gonna be a short one one anyway, cause he's the one driving. and lucki my visa from last yr biz trip was still valid, so do 1 less visa, but had still to do 3.

its been a exciting half yr, preparing for this shoot, and esp doing the house. tink nex yr we gonna take a break. gonna move into our new home, and hopefully able to go US for our annual trip. see how it goes.

oh! did i mention, i failed my CPA paper for this semester!!! so I'M NEVER GONNA TAKE INSOLVENCYYy!!

not sad. not a tiny winy bit. but its jus expensive. 1 grand gone. args.

mmm... delicious... into LV itch again. the last time i bought one was.. erm.. can't remmeber when, i tink was the azur. this is majiam someting that i already have.. but i like... mmm... would costs me around 730sgd..
but i aimin for a big one now... this is prettyyyyy.. but its over 4grand sgd!! and again.. monogram.. after the manhatten, i sorta told myself i not gonna get another LV so ex.. need to consider a lot of factors to bring out.. so its quite difficult to depreciate like that. monogram some more.. big no-no..

so many ppl in japan carrying LV.. args. irritating.

our common toilet floor tiles is done up.. we dint change the wall tiles thou.. cause common toilet lah.. not ugly can leow.. but the floor was ugly, so have to change.. and to then cover up the again ugly pipes hopefully as much as possible..

our toilet bowl is up in the masterbed room... but no flush.. so cannot pee..

this is out, i saw over the purseblog forum, its out in hawaii for a test launch. and i saw someONE carrying it in tokyo, by someONE, i meant just really 1 person carrying it. i tot it was alright oni.. kinda overrated as wat others expected and wat i expcted.
i still prefer this..

but i jus dont like the way the canvas changes colour, like wat some of mine are already changed or in the process of changing..

reno reno.. not interested in japan...coz never go shopping..

ok. so not into my japan trip. cause havent climax yet. so maybe weekend when there's tings then say. today i wore my new shoe, and it gave me jus blister on my feet till it bleed like nobody's biz. took a pic. but again.. laziness took over.

anyway, still into my reno. li-ren made the 2nd payment yesterday. halfway thru the reno, we chu some last minute pattern:
- decided to build in the vanity sink
- use expensive paint
- a lot of pattern for our air con piping. that requires much box up, plus change of initial lighting plans.
- additional box-ups to cover up ugly pipes hdb done without considering residence's eyesore.

he did not charge us extra!! someting that we've feared before we started our reno... the unexpected extra costs. either he is already overcharging us, or he's being nice coz we were introduce by li-ren's family. but overall, we were really happy with him! and his foreman!coz it did not took as much time as we expected, it was right on schedule, and he covered our screw-up for air con very well!! so we were really happy!!!

hope i can see significant changes when i get back.. from yesterday, li-ren says he's doing the skirting. hoping the painting can be completed when we get back..

cold turkey mood off!

I've finally bought things!! woho! at nearby roppongi area oni, cause afterwork already 8 plus, no time to walk further. and around tokyo cbd area during lunch. at least done some shopping, if not ar, don't feel balance being in tokyo and not buying anyting at all!

total damage yesterday within 1 hour was 200. haha. there were sale in the drugstore, so i jus had to get it! but have not yet gone full blast. shall wait till after the weekend, and re-assess the damage, and get back to the drugstore! woho!!

i was surfing net today, and came across someting, this singaporean who has been living, staying in melbourne, holding a Australia PR said:

'Looking forward to my Melbourne wedding photoshoot!'

that was my reaction. its like me saying, 'Looking forward to my Singapore photoshoot!'

isn't it natural to know that since you're staying and working there, ppl would expect you to have a Melbourne photoshoot... or isit jus a conversation starter for others to ask:

'hey! you're going Melbourne for a photoshoot?'

and the reply would be,

'oh, no, actually i'm staying and working there.'

end of awkward conversation.

japan i'm coming!

today again is busi, busier than yesterday, cause tml i'm leaving for japan for 2 weeks. and there're lotsa tings to be settled for the hse cause i'll be away. tings like colour of the hse.. it took us quite a while.


lets start with the day, japanese class. very very sad news. my sensei, nishimura sensei is leaving, she's going back nagoya to get married, and her bf is quite good looking! but again, very sad that she's leaving cause i really love attending her classes, now i regretted skipping last week's class.

after coming back from my japan trip, 2 more class, and another teacher would be taking over her. arhhhhhhh so sad that she's leaving.

then we went erm.. oh, get quotes for our study room table and shelving. then lunch.. then to seng kang to see our beloved cave, which look really good.. the homogenous flooring really lit up the house a lot! its no longer the ugly cement floor. and we were told that we can have our toiletries delivered. then we went down to confirm the delivery, and added more items to it.

it was realy tiring. then went tampines mall to collect my contact lens, and now. beat tired. still tinking bout my japanese teacher leaving.. hais.. super sad. the good? nishimura sensei say the next teacher is married to a singaporean, and she's been here for ages, so the chances of her leaving to get married like her is quite low.

tiles update!!

the air con man had to come down today, to touch up on the piping cause that time the tiles were blocking him, and it was too heavy i guess for them to move. so he came down for a while today to complete it.

it's running underneath the tiles, so its hidden yet again!!!! tml he can lay the cement and tiles over the pipe leow.. now that its done..

no more.. feels good that the tiles are up. we felt taller walking on it.. and like closer to the ceiling. haaha. and the hse definately has a nicer feel, it felt brighter not so sad. hehe. very happy! hopefully by the time i come back from Japan, i can see significant changes.
