Hong Kong: Day 1, 2 and maybe 3 and 4

Lets start with the flight to Hong Kong. We took the 8pm Friday flight. The flight was rather uneventful, which I guess is a good thing. She slept through..

She did slept through.every.single.minute. From the moment the flight took off, until we reach the hotel.
And by the time we landed at 12am, and reach the hotel ready to rest, it was erm... 3am!
Honestly, I can't really remember what we did the few days there. It was just eating and shopping.

We did manage to catch Hunger Games! Wanted to watch Frozen as well, but they were only at preview stage and so most of it were in cantonese.

Ending the post with a cutesy note.

Photoedit

So, after each trip, the other part which I enjoy is to do up the trip photo album. After switching back from Samsung phone to iPhone, I begin to use the edit function. Its simple, easy and makes the photo looks presentable. Then for one photo which I intend to use for the HK album turns out quite dark cause it was too sunny that day (not complaining). I decided to give iPhoto a chance.

Before: (the sky is blue and nice, but still. Too dark for my liking)
After:

I like the after effect! At least the things are visible now!

The next thing I know, every picture seems to be able to look better. Now this album's gonna take a while.

The Little Red Jacket

At times when I'm not so lazy, I'll squeeze in a post or 2!

I'm so glad that I got this little red jacket for her for this trip. Last year we wore some hand me down from my mum's friend. It was a wise decision, as she couldn't walk, so most of her pictures were sitting down or crawling and couldn't quite tell what she was really wearing. This year she's walking, so I think it'll be nicer to have a pretty jacket. So I got this from Old Navy, and was one of the best decision made! Now we have pretty pictures!

Though at times when she's sitting in the stroller, she did kinda camouflaged with it.
But it was good and keeps her very warm. Very important for this trip, because, as mentioned the bad weather, raining 5 out of the 7 days when we were there. The wind was cold, the air was cold, without Mr Sun, everything was cold.
She had low grade fever for most of the trip.
The only blessing was, we were familiar with the place, it was low grade fever, nothing too serious. My parents were staying at my uncle's, so the aunties and uncles were more than happy to have her around, she didn't had to be stuck at the small puny hotel room.

And the best of all, she did recover in time for Disneyland, and the weather was bright and sunny for Disneyland day! That's for the next post.

Its a Gaming week

*phew* its been a week since I last posted. Its a *busy* week, I've been very addicted to this new game, Castleville Legends. Very addicted, to a point I'm losing my sleep *yawns*.

So, in my mind I've been wanting to blog bout our Hong Kong trip. But between, Castleville, sleeping and blogging, things happen in the mentioned priority sequence. So now, ending off this short post with a sneak preview of HK weather when we were there.

Gloomy.

Alrighty, back to my game.

Hong Kong 2013

And today our last trip for 2013 ends in Hong Kong.
This has been one of the swayest trips of trips. Though, it could have gotten worse. From first day (last Saturday) we arrived, its been raining till Tuesday (it could have been worse and rain all the way till we fly off tonight). My mum arrived one week earlier than us, and was saying the weather was quite warm, I even packed berms for hubs. Of cause, hubs has to jinx it and say 'even if it rains, how heavy can it be'. It wasn't heavy, but it just keep raining, day after day. Plus Emma had low grade fever since she arrived, until Tuesday.

Wednesday, it was all bright and sunny, Emma's fever was gone. So we still manage to head to Disneyland as planned!

The only good thing bout this trip is, my parents are staying at my uncle's, so Emma was well taken care of despite the fever. It was still a good break looking back, though 2 days ago all my mind was *cold and miserable* x 1000

Now I can't wait to go back to sunny Singapore and the comfy bed. The hotel bed is back breaking.

Terrible Tuesday

I love our daughter. A lot.
But she doubt my love, tested me this morning, by giving a full puke on my work clothes when I was about to drop off at office. I'm surviving the day with damp dress, cause the office toilet has no blower. Now we got a stinko car to deal with.

Fantastic.

Whatsup weekend?

So I forgot, I can post from my phone!!
Weekends are just great isn't it. It became better this weekend, cause we're packing for our Hong Kong trip. I think I've been to HK at least 10 times cause my uncle stays there. But it just feels good going on holidays.
The favourite bear from Cold Storage (she can say bear now).
Weekends we get to clock some playground time.
Who doesn't love playground time?
Weekends we get to roll at home
And smoother one doll or two
Weekends we get to paste some stickers on a proper sticker book while having lunch
And we revive the almost dead doll (lucy) and watch tv while eating.
We love weekends!

Black Friday

Oh, and I only got one thing from Black Friday!! Modcloth had free international shipping, perfect for buying household stuff!
Even though I had many other stuff in various shopping carts, this is the only one I checked out!!

*pat on my back*

Love to be back on iphone again.

Uh-Oh

Her defination of smiling for the phone is
to close her eyes.

Recently somehow she picked up the phrase 'Uh-oh'

Milk bottle roll down the bed.
She goes 'Uh-oh'.

Hubs brake the car slightly harder, the books on the seat roll down.
She goes 'Uh-oh'.

While lying on the bed, she kicked hubs often in the face.
She goes 'Uh-oh'.

The funny thing is, she has been using it at the right time, saying it with the right pause that goes Uh.... OH.

Kids. Super funny. Wonder where she picked this up from.
