melbournish post

after much long procrastination, i'm gonna not be lazy and blog bout my melbourne trip. it has been a most wonderful trip with my collegue who loves to shop to.

this is gonna be a very disorganised post which is gonna be in no sequence, no category or anyting. coz i can't be much bothered.

this is one of the 'normal' buildings near our apartment. seems like all the buildings here looks like that. its near the famous flinders station.

ending of the 1st weekend

blogging on overseas trip has became lazy due to the following:

1) i'm carrying hubby's big ass camera which have made me lazy to take pics. coz its damn troublesome. and aso of the big ass camera, i'm lazy to load pics

2) my work laptop is down, and i'm not using my own, so its troublesome to load it on and delete it later

3) i'm tired from all the shopping and looking and eating. unlike my japan trip where i'm all alone on weekends. this melbourne trip is full of activities and i'm very tired after i'm back.

4) tink i bought more tings here than in japan. coz in japan i bought more of necessities, like fancl etc etc. that seasons' clothes wasn't jus right, and dunno foreigh? all the shops in melbourne are familiar, sportsgirl, portsman, etc etc. so it became very 'aim'-ed trip. sportsgirl was like the main one and managed to get some stuff here.

5) most importantly, finally got to try the legendary this... gonna grap like 3 dozens back... heeheh...

Melbourne is great!!!! shopping is sooo goood here too!! can fight with japan. but i tink japan still wins. yesterday was friday city night, so afterwork, making full use of time, we shopped from 6-9 and i've already blew a hole in my pocket!!! no pictures yet. coz lazy. more shopping to come today n tomorrow!!!!

i was put on waitin list today, coz the ballroom we wanted in this famous hotel was fully booked for obvious reason. we want a room in Jan, and now its November. this morning, i was put on waitin list.

this balding man in mid 30s, asked me 3 TIMESS 3 TIMEEESSSS!! wat was the status of our queue in the waiting list. this is soooo dumbbbb!!! its not like we're queuing for a plate of hokkien mee in the hawker center. this is a hotel room waiting list!!! there's obviously a reason for naming it a 'List'!! COZ THERE'S MORE THAN 1!!!

We spend yesterday afternoon looking at lamps and lights. but it was boring. the light shops were boring.

Anyway, i'm planning my leave for next yr! 30 days of leave nex yr!

21st July to 1st August 2008- 10 work days of leave! woho! for our perth photoshoot and sydney (if not melbourne, although i'll be gg there in 3 days time) trip!

the rest will sadly be gone to prepare my CPA exams. i guess i betta take, if not i'll be in jitters like the one jus passed not too long ago.

okie. i seriously tink there's a limit to how many pictures i can post every day. this is the max i can do today anyways. the day's bad since i came back yesterday. the scv box broke. aka. no scv. then. the tv doesn't work aka no tv at all. so we had to resort to videoez and jus finished fantastic 4.

ok. bkk trip~~
Airasia flight was memorable with the China men/women. airasia is free seating, with additional of $19 bucks u can get advance boarding. apparently the flight we were on, 90% were from China. and can you link free seating with them? way before boarding, all of htem are packed sardines in front of the door, waitin for someone to free them from the prison cell.

Apparently, we were the few who had the express boarding, so we jus happily walked in front of them boarding the plane ahead of everyone else!!wohoo!!! and the flight was greatt!!
then. our bkk cab had to run out of fuel in the middle of the highway. so, we were towed behind. if u can make out the picture.
the rest is the fantastic room which we make it a point to check in every noon 3pm for nap, and 10pm to sleep or my hubby watch teebee.

it definately feels beta then it looks....
