Day 5 - Taiwan - Home sweet home

Last day and the check out was 12pm! We stayed in till late and had breakfast at Starbucks.

One of her good mood days were I could get away the many photo requests.
I must say Taiwan has one of the better lounges.

I'm glad we're done for 2018. I really really can't wait for us to do Disney Cruise again in June!!!

Day 4 - Taiwan

As bored as I can get, there's no where else for us to go. So we were recommended to go The Palace (Gu Gong), which I didn't mind since I'm into the period drama now.

We spent about 3 hours there, and went off to walk around before we went for our visitation.

We were hosted dinner, which was amazing by the way. We had one lobster each, one abalone each, one scallop soup each, including Emma. I thought I cld eat double share, but my atas daughter ate her share too. -.-

Day 3 - Taiwan

I think we barely did anything today.

One of her favourite outfits, she calls this the jumping skirt, because its the same skirt from the MTV - Bar Bar Bar from Crayonpop
Breakfast everyday from the hotel was really comforting and good. They've got porridge, mee fen, lu rou fan.
We went to my office which is located at 101, so we kinda save the ticket price.
But, it was pouring that day, so this was all we could get. And free lunch.

It was shopping day, we shopped around 101, and also went to carrefour.
Then back to XMD for more shopping.

Taiwan - Day 2

This is my second trip to Taiwan, I remembered telling lr, we're not coming back. It wasn't quite fun, since none of the sights has any wow factor. Second day I hired a private driver to drive us around, which was super convenient and he was really good.

We started off at 9am, and went to Yeliu.

It was impossible to get a nice picture, the crowd was just. -.-

This reminds me of Pinnacles actually.
 Then we went Shifen waterfall.

Shifen to release the lantern, which I must say was the most fun thing of this trip.

We went to another gold mine waterfall.
And Jiufen which was my favourite since the last trip and also this trip.
 The view.
And we ended our tour at 5pm back in Taipei.

Taiwan - Day 1

After I've landed from BKK on Monday, we left for Taiwan the following week. I would never have planned holidays so close to each other. The Bkk trip was a last minute impromptu trip at work, was decided in 2 days (by all 6 girls), and tix were book 3 wks prior.

This Taiwan trip was kinda planned, but it was for a different agenda - to visit my nephew, so the dates can't be chosen. And my this trip, I wasn't really looking forward anymore since I was quite tired of travelling. Even for fun. #firstworldproblem

She's really been reading a lot, so got her to pick her book from the airport bookshop and it took some time away. She's into Roald Dahl nowadays.

Took the airport express from the hotel and there was a humongous monkey sitting beside us.
Our hotel right smack in the middle of XMD
The room was really nice and modern.
And landed at about 2pm, so we spent the rest of the day visiting and shopped around XMD.

Bangkok

I came back from NZ on Monday, Friday I left for Bangkok for a 4D3N with my colleagues. Its my first trip with colleagues for fun, first trip with such a big group.

Sending mummy off in the morning for work, and it was school holidays for her.
We did a private day tour with just the 6 of us, and the rest of the days were spent shopping.

This was never on my bucket list, but accidentally it was. It was really really interesting and we had an amazing guide. We managed to get to a cafe, and was in the best seat in the house.

Then we went to the river market which was underwhelming.
 High tide.

This trip was the most amazing trip I had out of my hubs. Such a fun group, I'm so grateful that I've found such a clique at work and we're planning for next yr already!
