English calender's 2009 had been a great start! with my trevi to spin off the year:

Then i had my light saber surgery done on saturday, it recovered very fine.. n on the same day i could see asif i'm wearing contacts 24-7. i was kinda afraid i would start off Ox year on a blur note..

Being movie junks, we finally got the HSBC prepaid card tingy, and we watched:

tiring monday dinner

our first attempt to cook. TIRING.

the rice was kinda soft, but still alright. at least we noe the rice cooker's working.. we gonna put it away. for some time. at least.

the other 2 dishes, gor lor yeo and sambal kang kong costs 2 bucks each from mixed rice stall.

the herbal chicken we steam it with the wok --> loads of washing to do.

no pics. why? coz the chicken was too cold to be eaten, we were damn hungry at 9pm and still not eaten dinner, coz i was working late. so we started with the 2 ready dishes (with rice of coz) and the chicken had to be heated longer. by the time the chicken was ready, we're halfway done.

tiring dinner. this is gonna be a once a month affair.

i've went for the lasik assessment, and fixed the 'surgery' on 24th Jan. *byebye glasses and contacts!*

li-ren got the gas guy down and we finally can cook at home!

thanks again to the reminants of the robinsons voucher free from the tv, we got a philips rice cooker at robinson sale!
