Krabi. Still.

The resort at Krabi was extra thoughtful. Knowing that we had a toddler with us, they prepared everything, from a bottle steriliser (!!!!), toddler toothbrush, toothpaste, baby blanket, pillow, bolster, cot, bathing tub, everything you could think of.

She probably had no memory she had a similar playpen, that she ended up having fun in it.

Krabi: Last day

We didn't had time for another swim in the morning cause we had to leave the resort by 10am. So after breakfast we went for some photo taking around the premise.

Her favourite buggy car that she's still talking about till today.

The entire resort was such a beauty! We were awe-ed when we just arrived to this view.

We managed to squeeze in sometime for her little play at this huge tub which she loves too!
And, home sweet home.
Now, we're definitely planning for our next resort trip. Bali sounds nice. But we have one problem, should we have a private pool in the villa? We didn't had one this trip, we already have problem pulling her out of the public use pool. And when we're not in the pool, she's constantly reminding us that she wants to swim. If we have a private pool, we'll probably end up returning to Singapore as a family of prunes?

Krabi: Day 2

All ready for Day 2!
Picked pebbles before breakfast. She's got a thing for picking leaves, stones, rocks, and stuff.
The breakfast was nothing to scream about, it was a sad variety actually. So she requested for rice, and we got her an omelette. My cheena baby.
And she had a WHOLE platter of fruits. Watermelon, honey dew, papaya, dragon fruit.
Then we went for a walk around the premise.

Thats the nearest we went near a beach. Every 5 mins, she says there's sand in her slippers and wants me to remove it. Its a beach, she's wearing slippers, of cause sand gets in! But she just can't stand it. So obviously we didn't spend more than 15 mins at the beach.
We drove ourselves to Ao Nang. Its like Patong in Phuket, a tourist stretch of shops, which was quite boring. We left after maybe 15 mins. Its a poorer version of Waikiki Beach in Honolulu.

And we went back to the resort as we thought time can be better spent looking at this happy face:

She had so so much fun!!

Krabi: Still Day 1

After we settled in for a while, we decided to head out for a swim!!

So, we walked, and got lost. We had no idea how big was the resort, and we didn't know we were to use the butler service, so, it took us a long tiring walk to the pool.
Alas, we arrived!
Extremely pleased. I think it was the low season. The huge pool was EMPTY. We had the entire pool to ourselves, threw the toys all over. And I think we spent 2 hrs there?

We ordered food, plus they had free fruits serving around the pool!

By dinner (like maybe only 7pm). We WERE SOOO TIRED. And that night, I think we all slept at 8pm.

Krabi: Day 1

Ah. Krabi. This has to be the first trip Emma is so aware that she's on holiday. Till today, 1 week after we return, she's been saying 'I want to go holiday', 'I want buggy car'. This is her 6th trip overseas, she's pretty familiar with the protocol of 'Emma sit aeroplane'.
Entertaining herself with the inflight toys and colouring book.
Catching up on her inflight entertainment. But she gets highly annoyed when a passenger announcement is made, cause it hangs her screen. Enjoying her inflight meal.
Especially the bun.
Having fun at Bangkok airport as we wait for our transit flight.
So before we flew, I asked the hotel how much was the cab ride to the resort. When we landed, there was a HUGE SIGN on car rental promotion. It actually costs us much lesser to rent a car than take a cab!
*TADAAAAAAA* so we somehow happily ended up with a car!
Best decision ever. It was a 1 hr drive to the resort, along the way the things we went past, it would have been pretty scary if we took a cab. I would think that the driver have kidnapped us and going to sell us off already.

Anyhows, I've booked ourselves at Phulay Bay Ritz Carlton.

The villa was just... amazing...

The happiest of us three is obviously Emma. She had so much fun once we stepped inside the villa.

By the time we were done with the villa, it was maybe 3pm? There's the 2nd half of the day. But, in other news, I'm tired already.

Goodnight.
